Abram had a loose tooth. He was really nervous about it-which says a lot since the kid has been trying to lose his teeth since he was four. I guess having the two previous ones pulled will do that to a kid. This on was so loose you could twist it, and I was DYING to pull it. I was that kid-the one who wouldn't stop messing with my tooth and pulled it out. Abram was really nervous, he came to me one day and we talked about it, his eyes full of tears worrying about the blood and how much it would hurt. I asked if he wanted to say a prayer about it. He said yes and asked Heavenly Father to help it not hurt or bleed when it came out. Then I was nervous-because well, they bleed, and sometimes there is a short lived twinge of pain.
Oh me of little faith.
The next day we went to Kroger and were in the deli section. The lady at the deli gave the kids a sample of ham and Abram said his tasted weird and asked me to finish his. I told him to finish it and then his eyes bulged and so did his cheeks. My immediate thought was, "This kid is going to puke up his ham that I made him finish." until he spit out his tooth in his hand!!!
No pain, no blood.
He was ecstatic-and told every. single. person. we passed in Kroger. I told him his prayer was answered. Abram giggled to himself throughout the store and looked at me at one point and said, "He loves me."
Yes Abram, He does.

Dear Diary
I have never been good at keeping a journal. Sad to say that if you look back at any of my journals-it looks something like "Dear Journal, Boys are stupid...." "Dear Journal, sorry its been so long, by the way I got married." "Dear Journal, Abram started Kindergarten, oh yah, I have two kids now.". It makes me sad. I love looking back at this blog and all of the memories I had since forgotten. It's the whole purpose. However, I have gotten overwhelmed with updating from last November-seeing as how it's JULY and all. SO I was talking to a friend and she mentioned one day of the week doing a "flashback post" so then it's not so stressful and overwhelming. Then, blogging can be fun again, rather than be that thing I keep putting off because I don't have the time. With that said,
Dear Blog,
In March we moved to Texas. So much to say-summarized version is Kris's job brought us here. We had known about the possibility for a while, but officially knew two weeks ahead of time. That is another post in itself called something like, "Gratitude, I know my Heavenly Father loves me." Because I can't even think about the things that happened, particularly the night before we left without crying (ugh, welling up now as I type). There have been so many things that have happened in the past few months. I was doing great for the first couple of weeks-super pumped, ready to take Texas by the horns! (pun intended) When that wore off-I was sad, like really sad. It was hard going from a place you had the best of friends and felt really involved in everything to-the exact opposite. After four months, I still don't have the layout of the church building down. It's an older building that has had a couple of additions put on, so every Sunday I walk aimlessly looking for my kids and which entrance I parked. But, in the past month or so-I am getting the hang of things, and making friends. I have found that when I try my best to serve others, I feel better. I am feeling more involved and I am so thankful for that.
Major events in the Raisor household since March (in no particular order):
Nana came for Easter weekend on her way to California
and we dyed eggs, which is a big deal, because we NEVER do it. We always run out of time and never get to it, I had five dye kits from each year this happens. We did it this year!
My baby turned FIVE!! We went to the park with some new friends and I made a hilarious ninja out of a monkey piñata because this five year old loves him some piñatas!
Reese started preschool when we got here and made some good buddies, unfortunately they are all going to different schools in the Fall.
We went to a new friend's house for a cookout. One of the people invited brought their pet snake. This kid was in heaven...
One night I went to check on the boys, and Reese was no where to be found....until I checked the top bunk.....
Reese had his preschool program. I got nervous when he started out like this.....
but he ended up doing great. We spent some birthday money...
Abram had field day...
I had a date with this cutie...
Family Home Evening got taken to a whole-nutha-level with Legos.
My BABY had his last day of preschool with the amazing Mrs. Botelho-Reese loved her, and she loved Reese, so I loved her :) So sad about the blurry picture.
We went to an outdoor concert..
Abram had awards day "Class Scientist Award" and the last day of First Grade..
How can my kiddos be growing this fast? It seems impossible.

November 2013
We had some amazing people in our ward that volunteered to babysit the kiddos so Moms and Dads could go
I am so grateful for temples. I am grateful to have a piece of Heaven on Earth, where you can leave the world outside and learn and serve. I am also grateful that families can be together forever. I want to be with these rascals for eternity.
Also in November, my Mom came over and taught us a long awaited lesson of making homemade noodles. The boys were SO excited and loved every minute. The pictures aren't that great because of the bad lighting, but the looks on their faces tell all.
We ate some of those noodles for Thanksgiving. Reese may have had five helpings. I stopped counting after his third. Abram later wrote this about Thanksgiving..
October 2013 Continued.....
I feel like there is so much I have left out in an attempt to get my blog up to date. It's overwhelming to say the least, and hard because now that I am past this, the emotions aren't as raw, and although they are easier to write about-I feel sad that it won't convey how I was feeling at the time. Honestly, August-February was really hard for our family. Kris started back in construction (which was an answer to prayer and fasting) but it required him to be gone all week, home on the weekends-which turned into every other weekend, which turned into being gone a month at a time. I struggled, and would not have made it through if I didn't have amazing friends. It's the truth. Friends who invited us to dinner, friends who watched my kids so I could have "alone time" to go to the grocery store, friends who would have play dates with me to make the day go faster, friends that would have their kids watch mine and let me have a much needed girls night. Dang it, I get teary eyed just thinking about it. It was so hard, and yet I made a commitment. I knew that if I did was I supposed to do, Heavenly Father would do the rest-and He did. Literally, I felt like I lowered my head and just kept moving forward. On nights when I was alone and cleaning up vomit for the third time, stripping sheets, freaking out because Abram put his hand in it, and then I slipped and fell in it at 3am. Where I had to literally laugh out loud or I would have curled up in a ball and just sobbed uncontrollably. But, my burdens were made light. I was able to keep trudging on.
I was able to run the Ragnar again last year. I was stronger this year, because I knew what to train for. It was really fun, and because we had some really fast runners this year, we got to start about three hours and we finished 2 and a half hours earlier than we planned. My amazing friend Lori made her traditional movie......
and if that isn't enough to motivate you to be in a van for 36 hours and run I don't know what will.
After Ragnar, Halloween came quickly-the kiddos went for a Star Wars theme and were the cutest Darth Vader

and Jango Fett
you have ever seen.
Since we had a candy overload, the boys and I decided to go to the Pumpkin Patch ON Halloween. This was pretty much the best decision ever, due to the fact there were maybe five families there along with the teenagers that worked there. No waiting, and we did whatever we wanted as much as we wanted. It was a ghost town, and we loved it.
There was a nice wind, and the only thing that was missing was Kris.
